Gretchen H Ferreira

Gretchen Ferreira, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her M.A. in Behavioral Science and B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Since 1997 Gretchen has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, county mental health, long term care facilities, a group home (which she managed), and was a co-owner of a business that helped individuals learn to communicate more effectively and work as a team. She has also worked as part of Medford Women’s Clinic to help women and families develop better life skills, self-care and communication and overcome depression and anxiety. Gretchen has a special calling to help women who are struggling in their pregnancies or with infertility, for women transitioning into parenthood, and for women who are entering into the "empty nest" phase of life. Gretchen also incorporates neurofeedback into her practice as an adjunct to therapy, especially for clients who have experienced significant trauma.
